Process Optimization

Modeling-driven optimization of operating assets — finding capacity in existing equipment before recommending capex.

Process Optimization

Process modeling

Our in-house capability covers biological treatment processes and most of the common industrial wastewater treatment unit operations. That lets us simulate the impact of process setpoint changes or design modifications in model space, before incurring implementation costs.

In practice the question is usually some version of “can we handle this load with what we have, and if not, how much do we actually need to add?” — and getting a credible answer from a calibrated model is faster and cheaper than running a plant trial.

Capacity expansion and new treatment objectives

Unlike equipment vendors, we are not paid to push unnecessary capital expenditures. We use the modeling capability to find capacity in existing assets when load increases or discharge limits tighten.

When expansion is unavoidable, the recommendation is shaped to the actual capacity or quality shortfall — the smallest cost-effective addition that closes the gap — not a generic redesign that takes the project out of service for longer than it needs to be.
